Ashley Denzari

The daughter of two talented adventurers, Ashley and her brother grew up always hearing tales of grand adventure and daring deeds from her parents and their companions. This instilled in the young girl a strong desire to follow in their footsteps and be a 'hero', as she happily called them. However, when she was thirteen summers old, the events that would come to be known as the Seventh Umbral Calamity came to be. Her parents left to join the myriad of warriors that had come together to try and prevent the fall of Dalamud, and they vanished in the chaos that followed.

After the events of the Calamity, the names and faces of those adventures who fought vanished from the minds of the general populace, and Ashley and her brother found that they couldn't remember a single thing about their parents. They knew they existed and what they did, but their time with them was buried in a seeming mental fog. Despite this, Ashley knew one thing for sure: they had been heroes. She decided immediately that the best way to find out what happened to them was to follow in their footsteps and become a hero herself!

From that day forward, Ashley trained herself hard to try to become an adventurer, eventually traveling to Ul'dah and joining the Pugilist's guild at the age of 16. Now 18 summers old, Ashley has begun her journey in full, trying to discover what happened to her parents, while helping as many people and creating as many tales of adventure along the way as she can!

O'reimelpa Greni

Born to a tribe of sun seekers, O’reimelpa was a bit of a black karakul growing up. While her tribe were predominantly hunters, what with foliage being extremely rare in the snowy, mountainous region they inhabited, O’reimelpa was born very small, and had no talent with the bow, spear or other weapons their tribe used. Despite this however, O’reimelpa was never considered an outcast, and her many sisters always did their best to help their littlest sibling try to find a job she could do to aid her family. In time, O’reimelpa found a place helping with simple chores around the camp, things such as stitching armour, feeding the hunting hawks, and brushing the chocobos.

It was a simple life, but O’reimelpa always struggled with a strong desire to do more. She was happy to help, but the fact that her skills were never much more then passable grated on her, and she wanted to do more to help the family that had been nothing but kind and supportive of her, despite her failings.

One day however, when taking her own chocobo out for a walk, O'reimelpa stumbled upon something she had never seen before. Amidst the snow, she saw a shimmering blue flower, growing despite the cold around it. O’reimelpa found herself transfixed by the plant, amazed at how something so beautiful could grow in such a barren landscape. However, the flower was clearly starting to wilt, and probably would not survive much longer without aid.

Quickly, O’reimelpa dug up the flower and rehomed it within the camp, and despite having little to no knowledge of plant care, she was able to help it gain back a modicum of strength. Looking after this flower seemed to elicit a change in O’reimelpa that didn’t go unnoticed by her tribe. She was happier and more cheerful then she had been in years, and the fact that the flower only seemed to grow stronger every day she treated it, despite the climate and her lack of knowledge, showed she clearly had a natural talent.

Wanting their ‘littlest’ sister to be happy, several of O’reimelpa’s family came to talk with her about this discovery. O’reimelpa clearly had a natural talent and love for plant life that she wouldn’t be able to express up here in the snowy mountains, but from the few times the tribe had interacted with nearby Ishgardian settlements, they had heard of a city-state called Gridania, where plant life was lush and common, and where a guild of botanists resided. On hearing about such a place, O’reimelpa couldn’t help but want to see it with her own eyes, and with the heartfelt permission of her clan, she set off on a journey to Gridania within the week. It was a long and difficult journey (that was extended by O’reimelpa’s lack of a map, and a bad decision to take a boat to Limsa, believing it might be nearby Gridania), but after several months of travel and odd jobs to make ends meet, she found herself in Gridania, and within the day was a new member of the Botanist’s guild…

Echart Denzari

Found as a child on the borders between Gridania and Gyr Abania by a band of adventurers, Echart was brought back to Gridania and adopted by two of the members of the group. Raised by Hyurs, alongside their daughter, Echart has never had a strong attachment to his Miqo'te heritage, and acts more like his adoptive parents than another of his Sun Seeker kind.

As he grew up, Echart showed a surprising intelligence and aptitude for learning, and this grew into a minor inventive streak by the time he hit ten summers old. His first invention was a simple toy-like extending claw for his best friend Elelli, to help the young lalafell reach the top shelf. The device was simple and flimsy, made of wood and rubbery vines, but it was a start towards something Echart would find himself obsessed with as he got older, invention and technology in all its forms.

As he got older, Echart’s passion for invention only grew, and around fifteen summers old, he was preparing to take his talent to the next level and head to Ul’dah to learn the ways of goldsmithing and alchemy. However, in that same year, what was known as the Seventh Umbral Calamity would come to pass, and it would claim four-fifths of his extended family with it. His mother and father, Elelli’s mother, and their uncle, all vanished alongside numerous other adventurers that had gone to stop the fall of Dalamud. While their deeds and actions remained, all details of who they were almost seemed to have vanished from the minds of all in Eorzea, including Echart and his remaining family.

With the disaster having ravaged Eorzea, Echart put his dreams on hold for a while to help his Uncle Rorokai look after Ashley, and Elelli’s younger siblings. With Elelli learning how to use a bow to hunt, Echart pushed himself out of his comfort zone to aid him, working to learn how to use the lance. However, his inventive streak still burned strong, and he tried to use it wherever he could to aid his family.

Life was harsh, but liveable, and in time Eorzea’s recovery started to begin. Around this time however was when something unexpected happened. Elelli’s mother Sasafi and their Uncle Srebrenko stumbled back into their home, and with them came back all the memories of the two to the family. While Echart had struggled to retain hope that their family was still alive, his sister Ashley had never once given up, and this event spurred her to become an adventurer to go out and find out where their parents were. Echart at first wasn’t too sure about such a direct method, but after some spurring from his sister and with Elelli happy to join the two, he set off as well with his sister to Ul’dah.
